The Douglas DC-4 Association of South Africa, a
non-profit volunteer organisation based in Johannesburg, is dedicated
to the Douglas DC-4
and C-54 aircraft that have carried African registrations, both Civil and Military.
The concept of
this website is to provide a comprehensive resource of data and
photographs tracing the histories of DC-4 aircraft that have
plied their trade in Africa.
I have
included the Aviation Traders ATL-98 "Carvair" which was a
modification of the DC-4 and they are on the same type
certificate.
